Talking about music, movies, art, culture fashion and pretty much anything else

My background is diverse starting from Art as a child all I did was draw, wrote poetry and stories . In primary school I represented my school in a statewide art competition. I had a great teacher that really encouraged me as I was painfully shy.I broke out of being shy when I tried out for a role (I secretly wanted to play) in a primary Musical I was Glenda ha ha from Wizard of Oz. I loved hitting those high notes and I was shocked when I got the part. So my shyness was broken and I have never looked back since. In High school I was the chosen representative to attend the Metropolitan West Drama Camp that was a state event I was only in year 8 competing against year 12′s. When I came back I was put in charge of the Drama class and taught drama to my year. This started my skills for improvisation which has helped me a lot in my confidence as a musician to be “in the moment” in front of a live crowd. I then went on to classes at NIDA, I attended the Julian Ashton Fine Arts School part time and was confronted by Disney studio’s (in Surrey Hills Sydney) to be an apprentice artist. At that time in my teens I began to “rebel” and left home and school .I learnt a lot in the 18 months I was gone. I busked on the street and made a lot of money this way. I felt a connection with people ,fine tuning my strength and human spirit. I returned home after being less of a brat and got serious. I fell into Fine Arts again and loved it.I loved the oil painting and working in the Photo labs, and the life drawing. Time went by and I have been in several exhibitions and got into radio hosting . In recent years, I have devoted myself to music and have found this process to be both soulfully rewarding and challenging (which I love.)I have a band called-
“T with Milk” we’ve supported acts like The Potbeleez, Vanessa Amorosi, Dukes of Windsor etc and we were winners of Melbourne Fresh Music comp with over 97 Bands competing. I am studying an advanced Diploma of Multimedia and love it. I am in pre-production for T with Milk’s first music Video called “Tokyo Bullet” coming up. So keep an eye on this blog cause this is where I am now. I will talk about the production and process behind the video, cheers Justine
